About ISAP
In December 2004 Robert Burridge was asked to be the President of the International Society of Acrylic Painters.
ISAP is an established Fine Art organization, whose parent organization is based in Great Britain. In 1996 our chapter, then known as NAPA-USA (National Acrylic Painters' Association) was organized in the United States by Linda S. Gunn for the purpose of giving acrylic artists the opportunity to exhibit internationally. In 2004 NAPA-USA separated from our UK counterpart, reorganized and evolved into ISAP.
The International Society of Acrylic Painters' on-going purpose is to promote the use of acrylic paint as a fine art medium. Members are professional artists who must pass a jury of their peers to become signature members. Our international exhibitions historically include artists from Australia, Canada, England, France, Germany, Japan and the United States.
